SOURCES SOUGHT: The 9th Contracting Squadron, Beale Air Force Base, California is seeking information about qualified sources for a Integrated Detection System (IDS) upgrade and maintenance requirement. The contractor will perform general alarm system and security camera preventative maintenance on Vindicator alarms and components. Also, all current Radionics components will be upgraded to Vindicator. A "Draft" Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached to this notice and the contractor will satisfy all of the requirements contained therein.

Interested parties who believe they can meet or exceed all of the requirements described in this notice are requested to submit, in writing, appropriate documentation, certifications, literature, brochures, and other pertinent information to demonstrate that the stated requirements can be fulfilled. Responses must include the following: Name and address; size of business; Cage Code; and whether they are a large, small, small-disadvantaged, 8(a), HUB-zone, service disabled veteran owned- or woman-owned business.

The applicable NAICS code is 561621. The size standard, as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration, is $12.5 M. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. No solicitation currently exists; therefore, please do not request a copy of a solicitation. A formal solicitation is expected to be released on or about 30 March 2009, and will be made available on FedBizOpps. It is the responsibility of each interested party to monitor this site for the release of the solicitation or synopsis. Respondents deemed fully qualified will be considered in any resultant solicitation for the requirement.
