PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project consists of the reconstruction of a campground and day use area as follows:

Base Items
- removal and disposal of existing toilet buildings, excavation, embankment, road reconditioning, crushed aggregate placement, trail construction, construction of campsite living areas and parking spurs, waterline construction, information kiosks, and signage.

Option Items
-

Include construction of a picnic shelter structure, Bayview North Group Campsite reconstruction, removal and disposal of a toilet building and additional surface rock placement.

PROJECT LOCATION

This project is located in Whatcom County near Baker Lake, WA (T37N - R9E - Sec. 19). From I-5 at Burlington, WA, take Hwy 20 (exit 230) East for approximately 24 miles. Turn left and travel north on the Baker Lake Hwy for approximately15 miles to the intersection of Forest Service Road (FSR)1118. Turn right and travel south for 1 mile to FSR 1118011 on the left and the beginning of the project.
