This synopsis, NAICS code 334516, is to notify contractors that the government intends to award a Purchase Order on a sole source basis to Du Pont Qualicon. These reagent kits will support work in the development of methods pertaining to both food safety and food defense. There are no potential substitutes. This sole source procurement will be awarded as a simplified acquisition for commercial items in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5.
