The subject acquisition is for the procurement of NSN 6140-01-484-7670, Nomenclature of Battery Set and will be available on DIBBS on December 13, 2012. An Indefinite Delivery Purchase Order (IDPO) with one base year and one option year is anticipated. Estimated Annual Demand Quantity (ADQ) is 68 EA. The approved source and part number is (0B7R6) Quasar Power & Technologies Inc., Part Number M357380. The ADQ represents an estimate only and not a guaranteed amount. Multiple delivery orders may be written against the basic contract for a maximum of 2 years. Solicitation is issued as a small business set-aside, and Other than full and open competition. Various incremental quantities will be solicited. Deliveries will be to various Customer Direct locations within (CONUS) and outside the Continental United States (OCONUS). While price is a significant factor in the evaluation of the offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery and past performance.
