This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
The solicitation number is AG-9JGP-S-16-0139 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ).
The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-88.

Purpose: Pretreatment of fields for conifer seed sowing.
Quantity needed; 4000 lbs. in 50 lb. bags. Also required are signage for treatment areas and designated buffers (a total of 12 signs each).
Desired delivery date; August 29, September 1, 2016 or September 6, 2016. If able to deliver earlier, please provide a proposed delivery date, as the requirement is needed as soon as possible.
To sell a "restricted use pesticide" (the official/legal term for pesticides that can be dangerous to handle including Basamid) in California, the State of California Dept. of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) requires that at least one person working for a company or its owner hold a Pest Control Dealer Designated Agent (DDA) License. To obtain this license the person would have to pass a written test and pay the required fee.
