The Project consists of the construction of a new one story PSAP building. This includes dispatch/call center, conference room, break room, offices, storage and server/IT room. This project also includes exterior site and utility work. BID INFORMATION: Sealed bids will be received at the Office of the Shelby County Emergency Communications District, 3150 Lenox Park Blvd., Suite 108, Memphis, TN 38115, until 2:00 p.m., January 12, 2023 for furnishing the Shelby County Emergency Communications District with the following: FOR THE DIVISION OF: Shelby County Emergency Communications District FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF: Bartlett PD PSAP 3730 Appling Rd Bartlett, TN 38133 PRE-BID CONFERENCE: A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on December 15, 2022 at 2:00 pm at 3730 Appling Road, Bartlett, TN 38133. All parties interested in bidding on this project are hereby invited and urged to attend this meeting. Failure to attend the Pre-Bid meeting will count against said “good faith effort” as required by the M/WBE program. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The Project consists of the construction of a new one story PSAP building. This includes dispatch/call center, conference room, break room, offices, storage and server/IT room. This project also includes exterior site and utility work. The contractor will have access to the site 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Shelby County Emergency Communication District fully understands that this work may require working periods of 24 hours, 7 day weeks. The contractor will have to work with and coordinate with the City of Bartlett for the other departments within the facility that will remain operational during construction.
