The USDA/ARS intends to award a Firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) and 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one responsible source, to: Pressure BioSciences Inc. 14 Norfolk Ave South Easton, MA 02375 Description of Requirement: The objective of this sole source award is to procure and install a Barocycler 2320EXT capable of: cycling 45,000psi, rapidly cycling from ambient to high pressure, maintain high pressure for an hour, maintain temperature of 95C, record and save pressure and temperature logs and export via USB, for research purposes. This requirement will be for the purchase of: QTY - 1 EACH, Barocycler 2320EXT to include installation and training. The NAICS code for this requirement is 334516; the small business size standard is 500 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement.
