CITY OF GLADSTONE BARCLAY STORM LINE PROJECT Proposals Due: March 16, 2022 @ 2:00pm Bid Opening to follow @ 2:15pm INVITATION TO BID Public notice is hereby given that the City of Gladstone has issued an RFP for the Barclay Storm Line Project. The complete RFP, including all submittal requirements, may be found on the City of Gladstone's website at https://www.ci. gladstone.or.us/publicworks/page/ city-gladstone-barclay-storm-line-project or at City of Gladstone Public Works Office, 18595 Portland Avenue, Gladstone, OR 97027. Please call 503.656.7957 to schedule an appointment if you're unable to access the RFP documents online; walk in's will not be allowed for document viewing. Hard copies of documents are available by request for a fee of $25.00. The project will include the installation of 400 feet of new storm line to connect the existing storm line on Watts St. to Portland Ave. This will help alleviate stormwater backups on Watts St. that come from the wetland area on Glen Echo Ave. The City will also reconstruct the entire section of roadway from Watts St. to Portland Ave. by installing a new base rock and installing 4 inches of new asphalt. Two (2) ADA ramps at Portland Ave. and Barclay Ave will be replaced making them in compliance with American Disability Act standards. Individual site meetings may be requested to be scheduled with our Utility Supervisor by emailing our Public Works Office at [email protected]. Site meetings will be available until March 10, 2022. Addenda from these meetings, if any will be provided no later than the end of business on March 11, 2022 to any and all registered Planholders. Sealed bids will be received by the Public Works office which is located at 18595 Portland Ave. Gladstone, Oregon 97027. Sealed bids may be hand delivered to the office or delivered by mail up until 2:00pm on March 16, 2022. A bid opening will follow on March 16, 2022 at 2:15pm at the Public Works Office, attendance at the bid opening is not required.
