1. The Attorney General is the chief law officer of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and he employs many assistant attorneys general. From time to time, the Office has need to retain counsel to provide advice on and defend assistant attorneys general named as defendants in complaints made to the Kentucky Bar Association. The counsel shall be experienced in attorney disciplinary and attorney licensure issues.
