The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Beartrap program, has a requirement for the following products: BANDIT II Simulator, p/n: 5171-0303T00000-2, qty 1 ea and BANDIT II NRE, qty 1 ea. These systems are used for calibration/certification of unique Beartrap aircraft & lab recorder/reproducers, ancillary components as well as post mission analysis. Flightline Electronics Systems is the only known authorized distributor for the firmware and supporting materials. In order to remain in compliance with system uniformity (form, fit and function) these units need to be procured. The Government intends to negotiate with Flightline Electronics on an other than full & open competitive basis to procure these items. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received may be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
