In accordance with 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(2) as implemented in FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible source," the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) anticipates awarding Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGC) a Cost Plus Fixed Fee delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-10-G-0004 for the procurement of Broad Area Maritime Surveillance (BAMS) and Global Hawk (GH) unmanned air systems joint efficiency projects. N00019-10-G-0004 was awarded to enable NGC to provide supplies and services in support of the various weapon systems they provide the US Navy. NGC is the designer and integrator of the BAMS UAS and the GH UAS. Accordingly, it is the only contractor with the requisite design technical knowledge and expertise, special test equipment, tooling, and facilities to provide economically feasible synergies and joint efficiencies within each program’s schedule constraints. A determination by the Government not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. This synopsis is published for information purposes only.
