The City of Bellingham (“City”) is issuing this request for qualifications (RFQ) (Invitation No. 67B-2023) from consulting firms interested in providing professional design services for the Bakerview Multimodal Improvements project (ES568) project. The Bakerview Multimodal Improvements project will widen Bakerview Road between James Street and Kramer Lane adding bicycle lanes in both directions, ADA compliant sidewalks on both sides, curb and gutter and stormwater collection and treatment, and two RRFB crossings. Services, including professional engineering services, and construction engineering and/or administration, may be added/removed from the contract contingent upon funding availability and project needs. This project is funded through various City of Bellingham utility funds.
