Projected Solicitation Issue Date: December 13, 2017

DLA Troop Support has a requirement for BAE Life Preserver Vests and Component Parts. We anticipate an Indefinite Quantity Contract for a two year base with three one-year option periods. The contract(s) resulting from this solicitation will be a Fixed Price with Economic Price Adjustment (EPA). This acquisition will be an unrestricted procurement with F.O.B. Destination to a specific Defense Distribution Center (i.e., Defense Depot Tracy, CA), Inspection and Acceptance at Origin. An Add/Delete clause will be included in the solicitation. Evaluation will be based on a responsible offeror who meets solicitation requirements at a fair and reasonable price. Offerors are advised that dependent on the item, Preference for Certain Domestic Commodities/Berry Amendment and Trade Agreements Act apply.

These are sole source non-commercial items with First Article Testing (FAT), Critical Application, Hazardous Communication Standards, Critical Safety, Production Lot Testing and Quality Conformance Inspection. The First Article Test (FAT) will consist of 3 units and will serve as the manufacturing standard. The delivery period with First Article Testing (FAT) is 270-320 days for the first delivery order and for items without FAT, the delivery period will be reduced to 150-200 days.
