As implemented by FAR Subpart 13.5 the government intends to award a two month plus one option month contract on a sole source basis to BAE pursuant to the authority of the Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, 41 U.S.C. 1901. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The requirement will be procured using procedures for acquisition of commercial items under FAR Parts 12 and 13.5. This procurement is for services to provide warehouse support, logistics support and ammunition handling, storage and transportation support.. An ammunition certification program is required. The government estimates 22 personnel to fulfil this requirement. This requirement will be a six month bridge in order to allow enough time for a competitive acquisition. Period of performance is 01 April 2021 through 31 May 2021 with a one month option CLIN. Performance location is at Naval Base Kitsap – Bangor, Silverdale WA 98315.
