General Information

The solicitation is anticipated to be issued in or around August 1, 2024. 

The contract is anticipated to be awarded in September 2024. All dates are tentative and for planning purposes only. 

The resulting contract shall be a Firm Fixed-Price contract.

The solicitation shall be a Total Small Business Set-Aside. 

The solicitation will be a Request for Quote (RFQ).

SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD: $19M

The anticipated magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000.

The U. S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service area office in Tifton, GA has a requirement for replace existing natural gas fired heaters.  

General Scope (further details will be made available with the RFQ)- The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control for removal of seven (7) obsolete natural gas fired heaters and installation of seven (7) new comparable natural gas heaters in existing locations (115V, 1PH, 60HZ, 87,150BTU/Hr minimum) that meet all Federal Energy Star rating requirements. The contractor shall establish connection to existing control circuit (control circuit must be wired and programed within existing control boxes and Bldg. electric service circuit) and establish connections to existing gas lines.
