Operational Contracting, US Air Force Academy intends to award a sole source contract utilizing simplified acquisition procedures to Environmental Tectonics Corp, 125 James Way, County Line Industrial Park, Southampton PA 18966, for the following: CLIN 0001:Underlying Mechanisms of Spatial Disorientation. This CLIN will result in the contractor modifying a proprietary code that is with the General Aviation Trainer in the Biology Department. The effort is to provide a software upgrade to the General Aviation Trainer (GAT –II) that will expand the capabilities of the device. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. If no response is received by 26 September 2003, 12:00, MDT, specifying that comparable services are available that would be more advantageous to the Government than obtaining the listed services through a sole source procurement with Environmental Tectonics Corporation, a sole source award will be made.
