Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with World Wildlife Fund Indonesia (WWFI) for NOAA, National Marine Fisheries Service for monitoring and protection of leatherbacks in North Papua. WWFI has been active in leatherback research and conservation at Jamursba Medi, North Papua and have established a collaboration with local stakeholders (government and local communities) that make's them uniquely qualified. WWFI has committed matching funds to enable this project to proced. The period of performance will be July 2005 through July 2006. This notice may represent to only official notice.
