NA The Defense Contracting Command-Washington (DCC-W), on behalf of the Office of the Secretary of Defense, intends to negotiate a single source contract (IAW FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source) to the Regents of the University of New Mexico, Division o f Sponsored Projects Services, Scholes Hall – Room 102, Albuquerque, NM 87131-6003, for a workshop on Medical Perspecitves on Unconventional Disasters. This effort supports the Secretary of Defense Security Cooperation Guidance and the Top Ten Priorities of countering WMD Proliferation, promoting New Concepts of Global Engagement and supporting the Global War on Terrorism. The contractor shall implement the workshop to address medical perspectives on unconventional environmental disasters (both natural and man-made) relevant to Force Health Protection. The period of performance of this contract will be from the effective date of award through 31 July 2003. No RFP will be available for competitive proposals.
