The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Atlanta intends to award on a sole source basis a purchase order to Agilent Technologies Inc, 2850 Centerville Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808-1610. The purchase order is for procuring the following: Liquid Chromatographic system including a binary pump, micro-degasser, high performance autosampler, thermostated column compartment, 1200 series Instant Pilot control module, and other related peripheral modules and attachments. This Liquid Chromatographic is compatible with previous method requirement, current applications and service contract. The authority for this sole source procurement is FAR part 13.106-1, The proposed contract action is made in the condition described in 6.302-2 for purchases conducted using simplified acquisition procedures. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. Firms that believe they can provide the required products are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 15 days from the publication date of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
