Knowlton Cultural Inventory -
BLM has a requirement for a Class III intensive field inventory to identify, evaluate, and protect prehistoric and historic cultural resources on 1360 acres of public land and to ensure that Bureau initiated or Bureau authorized actions do not inadvertently harm or destroy cultural resources. Please see all attachments for requirements. Location is in the Knowlton Area of the Miles City Field Office in Custer County Montana.
Prospective contractors must have a current BLM Cultural Resource Permit at time of award. Failure to hold/produce said permit shall deem vendor ineligible for award.
Prospective contractors shall be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award. Lack of registration in the SAM database shall make an offeror ineligible for award. Information on SAM can be found online at www.sam.gov.
Quotes/payments are based on number acres inventoried - NOT NUMBER OF SITES INVENTORIED/FOUND.
Estimated price range is under $25,000 All work must be performed no later than December 31, 2014. It shall be the contractor's responsibility to ensure all field work is completed before weather prohibits it.
