The National Institute on Aging, Intramural Research Program, Geriatric Epidemiology Section, LEDB, Gateway Bldg., Room 3C309, 7201 Wisconsin Avenue, MSC 9205, Bethesda, MD 20892 intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with St. Joseph Hospital, Mecore Laboratory, 360 Broadway, Bangor, ME 04401. The purpose of this project is to perform analysis of IGF-1, IGFBP-1, and IGFBP-3 using baseline samples from the Health ABC Repository. The contractor will analyze serum samples from 625 randomly selected participants from the whole cohort. Results of the assays shall be reported to the LEDB contact in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. The data will be saved as part of the Health ABC database.
