NAICS Code: 813920 The United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) intends to award a sole source fixed price purchase order to the American Association of Poison Control Centers (AAPCC) for Human Pesticide Exposure data reported to the Toxic Exposure Surveillance System (TESS) for 2004 and 2005. AAPCC is the only provider of these data. The estimated value of this procurement is approximately $90,000.00. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to procure from a single source under 13.106-1(b) "Soliciting from a single source" Efforts to recreate a similar database, and/or develop alternate sources for this requirement would result in significant additional costs to the Government that are not expected to be recovered through competition. However, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes, however all quotes received within five days after the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
