The National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Institute Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) has a requirement to procure custom conditional gene knockout. The task involves screening and cloning of mouse genomic DNA and design and creation of the targeting vector; electroporation of HYBRID ES cells, tissue culture, and antibiotic selection of ES clones; screening of ES clones until identification and confirmation of homoglous recombinant clones by PCR; blastocyst injection of recombinant clones; housing and breeding of mice and identification of germiline transmission by PCR. All responsible small businesses that are capable of providing the Government service listed above may request a copy of the Request for Quote (RFQ) in writing or by FAX to 301-480-8501 to the Contracting Office prior to the closing date of this notice. It is anticipated that RFQ NIH-NIDDK-07-253 will be available fifteen (15) days after the publication date of this synopsis. Receipt of quotations will be due ten (10) days after the release of the RFQ. The anticipated award date is May 2, 2007.
