The NOAA, Office of Protected Resources requires stranding surveys from five strategic camps located in Tamaulipas, Mexico to locate and document sea turtle stranding. The government intends to negotiate with Valley Zoological Society on a sole source basis to perform this service. The objectives are to continue year round, expanded stranding surveys along the Tamaulipas coastline of Mexico. Endure that accurate location and stranding data are collected for each documented stranding. Enhance knowledge of mortality factors operating on the population through documentation and reporting of results, including necropsy data as practicable. The performance period shall end September 30, 2004.
