The Monongahela National Forest anticipates contracting for botany surveys in the Cherry River watershed on the Gauley Ranger District in Greenbrier and Nicholas Counties, West Virginia and in the Lower Clover Run watershed on the Cheat Ranger District in Tucker County, West Virginia. The surveys will identify any threatened/endangered/sensitive plants on the Monongahela National Forest, plants on the Regional Forester's sensitive plant species list, and plants on the Regional Forester's list of non-native invasive species. The contract completion is scheduled for September 30, 2003 with the anticipated start date in mid-May.
