The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City intends to solicit Innovative Professional Solutions, 8317 Front Beach Road, Panama City, FL 32407, on a sole source basis for System Safety Support for: Development of a Fault Tree Analysis for the Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) contained in the Remote Activation Munition System (RAMS) and the Firing Device – Sympathetic Detonator, Underwater (TD-SYDET, UW); development of draft Threat and Preliminary Hazard Analysis and safety related design analysis for the Time Delay-Sympathetic Detonator Timer, Underwater (TD-SYDET,UW) program, and identification and analysis of Insensitive Munitions(IM) requirements, including a Threat Hazard Analysis and Weapons System Explosive Safety Board and Army Fuse Board support for the FD-SYDET, UW program. IPS is a small business located in Panama City FL. The company is uniquely qualifi ed to provide this support because of : (a) experience supporting the SYDET program – They are the only company with this experience, (b) many years of experience performing safety related tasking and developing corresponding safety documentation for SYDET and similar programs, and (c) experience with the RAMS program, its US Army developer (ARDEC) and program office. IPS has been providing support for the SYDET program , including its safety program, since shortly after its inception and its personnel have been providing uninterrupted support to similar programs in support of NSWCPC for over 5 years.
