Solicitation N00421-13-T-0525 is issued as an intent to sole source. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis for Aydin Displays under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation(FAR) Part 6.302-1, Far Part 12 & FAR Part 13. This procurement is set aside for small business in accordance with Total Small Business Set-Aside authority of FAR Part 52.219-6 Alt 1. The Aydin Displays Flat Panel Display Head Assembly is a custom manufactued part required for the AN/UPX-24(V) Interrogator Set. These are direct replacements for existing parts. The offeror must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. However, all proposals received by 26-Aug-2013 by 4:00 PM EST will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Please quote all or none.
