The contractor shall design, develop, produce and install via SPALT a shock qualified (by analysis) AWCS Laptop Hold Down for EWL and MDS laptops and an AMIN laptop drop at the LAC table drop  and will design, develop and procure TEC Circuit Breakers. The contractor shall provide required changes to AWCS 701  software and fleet documentation for the WSM capability for an any tube capability for use with AWCS 403.

Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS), Pittsfield, MA.  GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System (SWS) Fire Control System and Attack Weapons Control System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.  See Note 22.*****
