• Design and development in support of the Attack Weapon Control System (AWCS) Launch Control System (LCS) program. This will include meeting support with NAVSEA contractors for integration support.

• System and Software requirements documentation and conduct the combined review in accordance with the entrance and exit criteria provided in Operational Directive (OD).

This order is being awarded on a sole source basis in accordance with statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under Title 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR Part 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements." General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS), Pittsfield, MA is the sole manufacturer of the Attack Weapons Control System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.
