The Department of Justice, Justice Management Division, on behalf of the Tax Division, intends to award a sole source purchase order to C Forbes under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 as an urgent and compelling requirement for the delivery of award devices.  C Forbes, Inc. owns the approved die cast for the production of the award devices.  C Forbes guarantees delivery of the awarded devices within 30 days after receipt of order which coincides with the plan for employees to pick up their awards along with newly issued IT equipment as the Government remains in max telework during the Pandemic.  The government will save the money it would have expended for the delivery of the awards to employees homes.  This special notice is not a Request for Quote.  A determination by the Government to not compete this award was based solely within the discretion of the Government.
