This project involves work at Avoca West School and Marie Murphy School. The work in general includes, but is not limited to, removal and replacement of casework, walls, flooring, windows, pipe enclosures, sinks, etc. all as part of the remodeling of classrooms and multi-purpose rooms at each building. The work also includes patching and repair of damaged walls, painting, replacement of exterior mechanical units, a hot water heater, and all associated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work. Work is to be awarded as a single contract. Phasing of Work Phase 1 - 06/15 - 07/29 - All work not in Phase 2 Phase 2 - Demo 06/15 - 06/17 & Construction 06/29 - 08/09 - Marie Murphy School classrooms 280, 281, 282, 284, 288, and 290, and Corridor C-202. - These spaces will be isolated for asbestos abatement work beginning on the evening of June 17, 2021 and will not be available to the Contractor to resume work until June 29, 2021. Demolition work under this contract shall be complete prior to the asbestos-related isolation.
