The 436th Contracting Squadron (436 CONS) is seeking information concerning the availability of capable contractors renovate the King Pin Café at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware. Work will include but is not limited to, providing all labor, materials, tools, expertise, testing, surveying, equipment, sampling, warranties, and transportation for the design and construction of the King Pin Café entrance bay, seating area, main kitchen area, and To-Go area. The completed renovation shall reflect an aviation/aircraft hangar environment consisting of taxiway lines, runway markings, Restricted Area markings on the floor to mimic aircraft operational areas, bird netting, industrial type pendent mounted light fixtures, and stenciled wording such as "Caution -Jet Blast Area" or other similar items on the walls and ceiling area to mimic an aviation/aircraft hangar theme. The different areas will require varying levels of work to include flooring, cabinetry/countertops, wall repair, ceiling tiles, painting, electrical, and HVAC. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for informational and planning purposes only and will be used to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be made as a result of this RFI. The Air Force will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this RFI. Contact with Government personnel other than those specified in this RFI by potential offerors or their employees regarding this project is prohibited. For purposed of this RFI, the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and the small business size standard is $36.5M.

The Capability Statement should include general information describing your firm's ability to meet the program objectives.
