Defense Logistics Agency Energy (DLA Energy) intends to competitively solicit and award the requirements for the United States Embassy located in Kabul, and the Consulates in Herat and Mazar-e-Sharif Afghanistan; using best value source selection procedures. The requirement is for approximately 45,600 US gallons of Aviation Jet Fuel, and 6,400,000 US gallons of Diesel Fuel and approximately 880,000 US gallons of Unleaded Automobile Gasoline. This is a multi-year procurement; anticipated period of performance is April 01, 2014 through May 31, 2016. The solicitation will be issued on or about November 18, 2013.
