INVITATION TO BID MIDDLETOWN, CONNECTICUT Sealed bids, addressed to the Supervisor of Purchases, City of Middletown, Room 112, Municipal Building Middletown, CT 06457 will be received until Friday, June 18, 2021 at 11:00 AM (EST) for the following: IT/AV EQUIPMENT FOR BEMAN MIDDLE SCHOOL FKA WOODROW WILSON MIDDLE SCHOOL PHASE 4 of 4 State Project No. 083-0116N A Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid amount shall be required with all bids submitted. **Please note – Due to COVID 19, the following procedures applies: Bid documents will not be available for pickup. Bid documents and all information will be available and can be downloaded for free on the City of Middletown web site: www.MiddletownCT.gov and the DAS website at https://portal.ct.gov/DAS/CTSource/BidBoard. Bid submittals can be hand delivered or mailed by the date/time set forth in the bid document. All bid submittals; hand delivered or via mail shall be received on the designated forms sealed in an envelope using the return label provided. It is the responsibility of the bidder to plan accordingly that bids are received by the set date and time. Bids received “late” or faxed will not be considered. Bids will not be publicly opened, however, bids will be opened and read aloud via Zoom. A Zoom invitation will be provided on the City of Middletown website and the DAS website for those interested in “joining” the bid opening. This bid is for AV systems and equipment items 4-A, 4-B, 4-C, 4-D, 4-E only. All other devices and systems will be provided by others. All questions shall be in writing no later June 11, 2021 by 12:00 PM (EST) and forwarded to Technology Department, Michael Skott, [email protected] to be considered. The City of Middletown reserves the right to waive any defect in any submitted proposals and reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or any part thereof.
