The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), Division of Respiratory Disease Studies (DRDS), Field Studies Branch intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Entech Instruments, Inc., 2207 Agate Court, Simi Valley, CA 93065 for an autosampler to be used with current Entech preconcentrator. The Entech autosampler connects directly to the Entech pre-concentrator and automates the analysis of minicans and other large volume sampling canisters.

CLIN 4: Short Tray 500 mL Vials & Cans, OS/76xx non-cooled short tray for 500 mL Wide Mouth Vials, 450mL & 600mL Mini Cans, # OS-ST280-011: Quantity 1 each.
CLIN 5: Installation and Optimization, Quantity 1 each.

This contract action is for a product for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) and 10 U.S.C 2304(c) (1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals.
The notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within (15) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
