The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), has a requirement to procure two automated XY stages with 35mm dish and slide holders for an inverted microscope and shall be compatible with the existing Nikon Ti microscope system built for array tomography. This is not set aside for small businesses. The vendor shall include two each the following:

Two axis DC servo motor XY stage controller; closed loop XY stage with rotary encoders for an inverted microscope with precision lead screws and ground cross roller bearing to provide a high degree of accuracy and repeatability; XY-axis linear encoder with 100mm stoke, encoder resolution shall be 20nm and resolution at specimen area of stage shall be 50nm; have adjustable slides to allow a number of different slides and smaller petrie dishes; and an insert for multi-well plates.

Interested vendors capable of providing the Government with the equipment specified above should submit their quotation to the below address. It is anticipated that the Request for Quotation (RFQ) NIH-NICHD-11-100-1 will be available fifteen (15) days after the publication date of this synopsis. Receipt of quotations will be due seven (7) days after the release of the RFQ.
