The Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Region in Boise, ID intends to award a purchase order for a TOC Analyzer to OI Analytical with address at 151 Graham Road, College Station , TX 77845-9654.. The PN Regional Lab currently uses an OI Analytical wet heated persulfate oxidation TOC analyzer and has done so for years. To maintain consistent results, and to provide results that can be compared to historic data, the lab needs to maintain the same wet oxidation method that has previously been used and is currently being used. Additionally, the PN Regional Lab is currently accredited for method 5310B which is the wet heated persulfate oxidation method. Changing methods would require the lab to go through a new accreditation process. A new TOC method would require the lab clients that are currently getting TOC data from the PN Regional Lab to change their project plans to accommodate a new procedure. It was determined that OI Analytical is the only company that produces an instrument that uses the wet heated persulfate oxidation technique. OI Analytical manufactures the wet heated persulfate oxidation TOC analyzers and sells directly to users. Although this notice is not a request for competitive quotes, interested parties may send inquiries/proposals through e-mail.
