The City of Aurora has acquired an NEA “Arts Engagement in American Communities” grant to commission a mural. The theme of the mural is “Diversity in Technology.” The mural is to be painted on the 40’x40’ second story façade wall of 105 E. Galena Blvd. in Downtown Aurora. The Aurora Public Art Commission (APAC) is inviting artists to submit a rough sketch, color palette, and a brief statement regarding the concept behind the design. Up to three Artists will be offered a paid contract to submit a full-color, final design.
