This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested. The U.S. Naval Hospital, Okinawa, Japan intends to negotiate a sole-source with MSR Northwest Inc. based on the technical specifications to include dimensions,weight,power,and seismic requirements that were conducted by (GOJ) Government of Japan,Army Corps of Engineers,DoDDS Pacific Facilities Branch, and NH Okinawa safety Depart for the newly constructed Kadena Middle School. to include the following schedule of supplies: 1. Audiobooth,Double Wall,Single person ECKEL C-25 Interior Dim: 6”5” x 7”4”x 6”6” 2. ECKEL C-25 Installation including all labor cost. 3 ECKEL seismic Package which includes: Necessary Engineering Details,Engineering Wet Stamp, Hardware for Seismic Securing of Sound Booth to Host Building. 4. The contractor shall be responsible for delivery to Tracy, Ca 45-60 days ARO and providing proof of delivery and tracking information (tracking number) shall be provided to the Government upon request. Contractors shall re-ship orders, at their expense, if proof of delivery and proper tracking information cannot be provided. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 10 calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the contractor’s capability to provide and ability to comply with the above requirements. Information can be e-mailed to the Contracting Officer. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (1) Technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement (including submission of descriptive literature); (2) Price; all to be submitted with quotation. No telephone requests will be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated, however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the U.S. Naval Hospital, Okinawa, Japan will proceed with the sole source procurement with MSR Northwest Inc. Faxed offers will be accepted.
