Solicitation N00421-14-T-0416 is issued as a synopsis/solicitation.  The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order. SIE Computing Solutions, Inc is the only known vendor of the requested ATR Chassis and only vendor capable of repairing an existing chassis. The new chassis and repair must be compatible in form, fit, and function with existing equipment and meet all testing requirements. All other sources will require new testing which would cause additional expense, a schedule delay and supportability will be impacted. SIE Computing Solutions will repair the existing chassis and provide the new chassis under the authority of FAR Part 12, FAR Part 13.  Request is set-aside for Total Small Business under the authority of FAR Part 52.219-6.  Offertory must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DOD contract.  This may be accomplished electronically at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM.

Award is expected August 6, 2014.  Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposal.  This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
