The National Transit Institute (NTI) is seeking proposals from qualified professionals to develop its Asset Management Course.  The objective is to develop an Asset Management Training course by revising an existing course offered by the National Highway Institute.  The update will be made in conjunction with NTI and Federal Transit Administration staff.  The course will cover the general principles of asset management as it pertains to the transit industry. A pilot training session of the course will be conducted by September 30, 2010. 

NTI’s Asset Management Course, a two day course should cover the principles of asset management with focus on transit systems and should be targeted towards senior and mid-level managers.  The development of the course will use the asset management course offered by the FHWA’s Office of Asset Management.
