The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to modify a Delivery Order under NAVAIR BOA N00019-06-G-0011 to procure additional Repair of Repairable (ROR) effort for approximately 2 months for the AN/ALQ-165(V) Airborne Self Protection Jammer (ASPJ) with a Joint Venture to ITT Industries Inc. and Northrop Grumman Corporation in Clifton, New Jersey on a sole source basis for the following effort: for the essential repair, support, calibration, and repackaging necessary to restore the AN/ALQ-165(V) Weapons Replaceable Assemblies (WRAs) and Shop Replaceable Assemblies (SRAs) to a Ready-For-Issue (RFI) condition. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to the Joint Venture, ITT Industries / Northrop Grumman Corporation in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The Joint Venture, ITT Industries / Northrop Grumman is the only qualified source which possesses the detailed knowledge of the AN/ALQ-165(V) design to allow them to perform these efforts in a timely and cost effective manner. It will be necessary to rely on the Contractor for depot repair, test, support, calibration, and repackage as no organic capability is planned.
