It is the City’s intent that the successful Firm will be involved for the full duration of the design development, preparation of construction and bidding documents, and construction administration phases of the project. The budget for this project is approximately $234,330.00. A general description of the scope of work for this project is provided below. The Ashburn Water Line Rehab project limits extend from Francis Drive to Gilchrist Avenue. The project includes replacing approximately 1250 linear feet of 6-inch water line and 200 linear feet of 4-inch water line as well as all the service lines along this section of water main. This section of water main was originally constructed with Ashburn Avenue and has experience multiple water main breaks in recent years. Ashburn Avenue is to be milled and over layed soon after the construction of this water line. Pavement and curb repair may be necessary as part of this project.
