Florida Gulf Coast University is issuing this Invitation to Negotiate for the construction and deployment of eighteen (18) artificial reef units (concrete box culverts) for the FGCU Artificial Reef Research Complex (to be named “Kimberly’s Reef”) approximately seven miles due west of Wiggins Pass at a depth of 30 feet (Figure 1 below). The coordinates of the reef site are 26.33064° N by 81.97002° W. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers permit has been issued.
