The purposes of this project are to prevent the contamination of water, the uncontrolled flow of water from wells, and to prevent inter-aquifer flow of water through well bores. The purpose shall be met by permanently abandoning wells through the District's Abandoned Artesian Well Plugging Cooperative Cost Sharing Program.
