Bids will be accepted at the Channahon Park District, 24856 W Eames Street, Channahon, Illinois 60410, during regular office hours. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with the Contractor’s name and address, and “Bid for Arroyo Trails Park Restroom,” on the face of the envelope. Bids must be received no later than 10:00 am on March 22, 2023. Bids will be opened at 10:00 am on March 22, 2023 at the Channahon Park District, 24856 W Eames Street, Channahon, Illinois 60410. All bidders will be required to submit Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid, payable to the Channahon Park District. In lieu of a Bid Bond, a Certified or Cashier’s Check in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid, payable to the Channahon Park District, will be accepted. Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). The Channahon Park District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, parts of any and all proposals, or to waive technical errors or omissions in submitted proposals. No submitted bid may be withdrawn until a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, without written consent of the Channahon Park District.
