In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) parts 8.405-1 and FAR part 8.405-6, three (3) quotes were obtained for this action that does not require a statement of work and award is was made to the lowest priced offer who submitted response for this requirement under their GSA Federal Supply Schedule GS35F4363D to Patriot Technologies, Inc. a delivery order under simplified acquisition procedures was awarded in the amount of $980,460.

A limited source justification was publicized on GSA E-BUY under RFQ477599 to alert all appropriate GSA Federal Supply Schedule holders offering Proventia Sensors equipment of the limited source justification in accordance with FAR 8.405-6. The funds being used for this simplified acquisition are American Re-investment and Recovery Act funds. This notice is in accordance with FAR 5.7.
