The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to issue an Optional Form 347, Order for Supplies and Services for commerical item/service to Asuragen, Inc., Austin TX to furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary to provide Armored Ribonucleic Acid (RNA) Quant Flue-B-NS, 1 Development Lot (approximately 1X10X12 ) (12 copies). Through market research, it was determined and proven that Asuragen, Inc is the only company that provides this service and product. CDC believes the Asurgen, Inc is the only known source that can provide service of the highest reliability levels as required for CDC within the requirement timeframe. The Government intends to evaluate quotes or offers and award a Purchase Order without discussions with Offerors providing the requested services. Therefore, the initial offer should contain the offeror's best terms from a technical and price standpoint. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 541711 and the Size Standard is not available for this requirement.
