The Minnesota Department of Public Safety (DPS) intends to renew an agreement with AristaTek to provide PEAC-WMD Hazmat safety response software for two years. The software is used by the State Fire Marshal Division for vital chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and high-yield explosives information when responding to incidents. DPS has determined that AristaTek’s PEAC-WMED software program is the only commercially reasonably available product. This is deemed a single source purchase because AristaTek is the sole supplier of these software licenses. This software program is not available from other third parties.
