NSWCCD Philadelphia seeks to award a firm fixed price (FFP) contract using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) to IDAC West, Inc, 380 South Melrose Drive STE 300 Vista CA, 92081-6665. This procurement is for the on-site ship-check for the ARCO (ARDM-5) and project scope development. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 541330 with a size standard of $38,500,000.

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and does not constitute a solicitation. However, all proposals received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
